I’m Fenny Lai, the Founder of LHL Advisory Services and a Senior Professional Estate Planner. My journey into estate planning began in 2011 with a simple yet powerful mission — to raise awareness about protecting families’ hard-earned assets and ensuring their smooth distribution when life’s unexpected events take a turn.
The Story
The Turning Point
Starting motherhood and leaving my corporate IT job to focus on raising my young children has exposed the financial vulnerability of a single-income family and sparked a deeper purpose to help others plan for the unexpected.
In the same year, witnessing my own father passing away without a properly written will also fueled a strong purpose to help others build a solid estate plan to leave nothing to guesswork for their loved ones in life-changing moments.

My journey into estate planning began in 2011 with a simple yet powerful mission: to raise awareness about the importance of protecting families’ hard-earned assets and ensuring their smooth distribution to loved ones when life’s unexpected events take a turn.
Building Expertise
I embarked on Wills and Trusts planning certification with Rockwills Malaysia and subsequently pursued Associate Estate Planning Practitioner (AEPP®) designation certification with EPPL Singapore and Society of Will Writers UK to deepen my expertise in estate planning to better serve families.
